Pangot Village

 

Just 15 km from Nainital, Pangot is a birdwatcher's paradise, boasting over 580 recorded bird species. Nestled amidst dense oak, pine, and rhododendron forests, this tranquil village offers opportunities for birdwatching, nature photography, and hiking in the Kilbury Forest Reserve. Ideal for nature enthusiasts, Pangot provides peaceful homestays that immerse visitors in rural life.

 

Gurney House

 

Located on Aryapatta Hill near Tiffin Top, Gurney House was the residence of famed British hunter and conservationist Jim Corbett.
