On Wednesday, Narendra Modi made a special visit to Lok Nayak Jai Prakash Hospital (LNJP) in New Delhi to meet and personally interact with those injured in the tragic blast near Red Fort. The Prime Minister, returning from a state visit to Bhutan, went straight to the hospital where doctors and senior officials briefed him on the patients’ conditions and the ongoing investigation.

During his visit, he expressed empathy toward the victims and their families, wishing them a speedy recovery and assuring them that the entire nation stands with them. In a message on social media, he reiterated the government’s commitment to bringing the perpetrators to justice.
Officials say the visit underscores the depth of the government’s response, both medically and security-wise, as authorities prepare for a high-level review meeting later in the day.

As investigations continue into the blast that shook the national capital, the Prime Minister’s visit is being seen as a reassurance of national solidarity and resolve in the face of the attack.
