Nutritionist Sarthak Kukreja is championing a homemade “Collagen Glow Glass” drink as more effective for skin health than topical creams. Collagen, a structural protein in skin, hair, and nails, diminishes with age, leading to fine lines and dullness.
The Glow Glass is made by blending citrus fruits (rich in vitamin C), berries, and herbs, freezing them into cubes, and dissolving one cube daily in water. This simple daily ritual supplies not only collagen‑supporting amino acids but antioxidants and vitamin C—boosting skin regeneration from within.
Scientific support includes a study in Nutrients showing that regular intake of collagen supplements improved skin hydration, elasticity, and reduced wrinkles. Experts argue that while creams can hydrate the surface, they don’t stimulate collagen production at deeper levels; ingestible collagen works from the inside, stimulating fibroblasts and enhancing blood flow for a longer-lasting glow.
Kukreja emphasizes that, though topical skincare has a place, internal nourishment provides more sustained benefits. He recommends the Glow Glass as a complementary step to sun protection, hydration, and healthy habits—delivering natural radiance from within.
