The decisions were announced following a Cabinet meeting chaired by Chief Minister Rekha Gupta at the Delhi Secretariat.

Under the new policy, eligible students in government institutions will receive laptops, aiming to reduce the digital divide and support hybrid learning. Simultaneously, athletes who bring Olympic glory to India will now receive enhanced financial rewards - a step seen as a morale boost ahead of future international games.
