OpenAI's growing demand just teamed it up with a Tech-Giant!

OpenAI has added Google Cloud to its supplier list to meet surging computing demands for AI model training and deployment. The ChatGPT maker now relies on services from Microsoft, Oracle, CoreWeave, and Google Cloud, according to its updated website.

The Google deal, finalized in May after months of discussions, marks OpenAI's continued effort to diversify computing sources beyond primary backer Microsoft. Previously, Microsoft's Azure served as OpenAI's exclusive data center provider until January.

Earlier this year, OpenAI partnered with SoftBank and Oracle on the $500 billion Stargate infrastructure program and signed multi-billion-dollar agreements with CoreWeave. The massive computing requirements are reshaping competitive dynamics in the AI industry as companies seek expanded capacity.
