Duty-free shopping at airports is no longer a last-minute scramble. Adani Airport Holdings has teamed up with MakeMyTrip to bring a smarter, more planned way to shop for international travellers.
With this new feature, users can browse and reserve duty-free products online while booking their flights. The platform offers a wide selection across categories like perfumes, cosmetics, electronics, and liquor, featuring over 100 brands and thousands of products.
Once booked, travellers can simply pick up their items at designated duty-free stores at Adani-operated airports-either before departure or after arrival. This removes the hassle of long queues and rushed decisions at the airport.
The move is part of a bigger strategy to make travel more seamless and digital. It also helps airports boost retail revenue while giving travellers more control over their shopping experience.
This shift could redefine airport shopping-turning impulse buying into planned, stress-free spending.
