The University of San Diego (USD) has launched online Master’s degree programmes specially designed for working professionals in India. For the first time, Indian students can study directly from a US university without leaving the country.

The courses offered include Applied Artificial Intelligence, Data Science, Cybersecurity Engineering, and Cybersecurity Operations and Leadership. These programmes are fully online and can be completed in 20 months, with no need to attend live classes. You can study at your own pace while managing your job and personal life.

The total cost is around ₹10.49 lakh, and scholarships and financial aid are available. To apply, you need either a 4-year degree with second division or a 3-year degree with first division, plus proof of English proficiency like IELTS or Duolingo.

Admissions are now open for the September 2025 batch, and the last date to apply is August 1, 2025.

There’s also an optional two-week visit to USD’s California campus for real-world experience and networking.

This is a great opportunity for Indian tech professionals to gain global qualifications from home.
