OpenAI launches ChatGPT Agent that works like a smart virtual assistant!

OpenAI has launched a powerful new tool called the ChatGPT Agent-an AI feature that can perform complex tasks independently, like a smart virtual assistant. Available for Pro, Plus, and Team users, this AI agent can browse websites, analyze data, create presentations, manage emails, and even plan purchases or meetings.

The agent combines the power of ChatGPT’s conversational fluency, deep research capabilities, and website interaction tools. It uses both a visual browser and text browser, along with API and terminal access to complete workflows on behalf of the user.

Before taking any action, the chatbot will ask for permission and allows users to pause or stop the task anytime. This agent can even integrate with apps like Gmail, GitHub, and calendars for more personalized task management.

Experts are calling AI agents like this the “next big thing” in technology. According to market research, the AI agent industry is expected to skyrocket from $5.29 billion in 2024 to $216.8 billion by 2035.

OpenAI’s ChatGPT Agent is now changing how users interact with AI-more automation, more intelligence.
