Exam fever and it’s coping mechanism!

Sometimes, it comes with physical symptoms such as fever, fatigue, sleeplessness, and most commonly, anxiety and stress. This pressure becomes even more overwhelming when time management turns difficult and students try to finish the entire syllabus at once. Although it may sound impossible, our generation somehow knows how to survive through it. Students often rely on friends’ notes or use artificial intelligence to simplify difficult topics and summarise lengthy chapters.

It makes studying faster, easier, and less stressful. Poor time management is one of the biggest reasons behind last-minute panic the night before an examination. With assignments, college work, and extracurricular activities constantly going on, students often find themselves juggling responsibilities beyond books and pens. Honestly, it feels inevitable at times. To cope with this pressure, students often adopt different methods such as group studies, taking short breaks, maintaining proper sleep schedules, and staying hydrated during long study hours while some prefer preparing study routines in advance. For many young people today, AI has become a go-to mentor, especially platforms like ChatGPT. It is quick, accessible, and convenient. Sometimes, all we really need beside it is a glass of water to stay hydrated during these sessions. Personally, I do not try to memorise every chapter. Instead, I focus on the most important topics that may help both in examinations and in the future. In many ways, artificial intelligence does the difficult part by breaking down complex equations and calculations into simpler explanations.

Credit truly goes to the developers who made learning more approachable for students.

In the end, many of us who struggle to maintain a stable daily study routine eventually turn to the internet for help and indeed, it proves to be useful. However, while AI can make studying easier, proper time management will always remain the real key to overcoming exam pressure. Depending entirely on technology may help temporarily, but building discipline and better habits ultimately shapes both character and personality.
