India is witnessing a powerful trend influencers turning into startup founders. Riding on loyal fanbases and content virality, creators are now building D2C brands, launching tech platforms, and even getting VC funding.
Names like Shlok Srivastava (Tech Burner) and Ranveer Allahbadia (BeerBiceps) have gone beyond YouTube. Shlok launched Layers, a smartphone accessories brand, while Ranveer co-founded Level, a wellness and mental health platform. Similarly, Prajakta Koli, Kusha Kapila, and Dolly Singh are tying up with fashion, beauty, and lifestyle brands or launching their own.
