PNB is seeking eligible candidates to fill training seats across various States and Union Territories. The selection process is designed to be fast-paced, with the online examination tentatively scheduled for early March.

Key Vacancy & Salary Details:

• Total Vacancies: 5,138 posts.

• Stipend: Selected candidates will receive a monthly stipend ranging from ₹12,300 to ₹15,000, depending on the location of the branch (Rural/Semi-Urban vs. Urban/Metro).

• Training Duration: 1 year (52 weeks). This is an apprenticeship program and does not guarantee permanent employment in the bank.

Eligibility Criteria (As of Jan 1, 2026):

• Educational Qualification: Graduate degree in any discipline from a recognized University/Institute.

• Age Limit: Minimum 20 years and Maximum 28 years.

• Note: Upper age relaxation applies for SC/ST (5 years), OBC (3 years), and PwBD candidates as per Government of India guidelines.

• Language Proficiency: Candidates should be proficient in the local language of the State/UT they are applying for.

Selection Process:

1. Online Written Test: Objective type test covering General/Financial Awareness, English, Quantitative Aptitude, and Reasoning.

2. Local Language Test: To verify proficiency in the state's official language.

3. Medical Examination & Document Verification: Final stages for shortlisted candidates.
