India’s pet care industry is going digital, and startups are leading the shift from basic shopping to smarter pet parenting. Earlier, pet owners mostly depended on Google searches or vet visits for advice. But now, new apps and platforms are offering personalised guidance, training support, and health tracking—all in one place.
These startups are using data and AI to understand pets better and provide customised recommendations. From booking trainers to tracking vaccinations, everything is becoming more convenient. Some platforms also build communities where pet parents can share experiences and tips.
However, challenges still exist. Many users don’t fully trust digital advice and prefer offline consultations. Pricing, service quality, and lack of awareness also affect adoption.
Despite this, the trend is growing fast. As technology improves, these platforms could redefine how Indians care for their pets—making pet parenting easier, smarter, and more connected.
