The National Testing Agency (NTA) has reopened the exam city allocation window for CUET UG 2026, offering relief to students who were earlier assigned centres far from their preferred locations. The decision comes after widespread complaints about long-distance travel and inconvenience.
Candidates can now log in to the official portal to check and revise their exam city details. The city intimation slip is meant to help students plan their travel in advance, but it is not the admit card. The final admit card will include the exact exam centre, date, and shift timing.
The CUET UG 2026 exam is scheduled to be held between May 11 and May 31 in computer-based mode across multiple centres in India and abroad.
Students are advised to download the updated city slip as soon as possible, verify all details carefully, and keep checking for further updates. Once the admit card is released, no changes in exam city or shift will be allowed.
This move is expected to ease stress for lakhs of aspirants and ensure a smoother exam experience.
