This couture piece blends Italian luxury with Indian tradition, as it’s handcrafted using the Bandhani tie-dye technique from Kutch, Gujarat.

Styled by celebrity stylist Anaita Shroff Adajania, the gown celebrates craftsmanship from both worlds. Inspired by Cavalli’s 2012 Project Renaissance with Vogue India, the silhouette was brought to life under the creative direction of Fausto Puglisi. The bright Bandhani fabric was handmade over several months by local Indian artisans-tying, plucking, and dyeing each thread with precision and care.
