Isha Ambani Piramal, known for her luxurious fashion choices, has once again turned heads-this time in a stunning custom-made pink gown by Italian fashion house Roberto Cavalli. But the highlight? This couture piece blends Italian luxury with Indian tradition, as it’s handcrafted using the Bandhani tie-dye technique from Kutch, Gujarat.
Styled by celebrity stylist Anaita Shroff Adajania, the gown celebrates craftsmanship from both worlds. Inspired by Cavalli’s 2012 Project Renaissance with Vogue India, the silhouette was brought to life under the creative direction of Fausto Puglisi. The bright Bandhani fabric was handmade over several months by local Indian artisans-tying, plucking, and dyeing each thread with precision and care.
The look has gone viral, with social media users calling it a “masterpiece of fusion” and a “global celebration of Indian textiles.”
Isha’s fashion statement is not just elegant-it's symbolic. It revives traditional art while showing the world how Indian techniques can lead global luxury.
