Kannappa, directed by Mukesh Kumar Singh and led by Vishnu Manchu, tells the powerful story of a tribal hunter named Thinnadu, who becomes a devoted follower of Lord Shiva. Inspired by the legend of Kannappa, the film blends mythological storytelling with high-end visuals and action.
The film opens with a slow-paced and slightly underwhelming first half, according to early viewers. However, the emotional weight and gripping sequences in the second half have left audiences impressed. Many have praised the film's climax, calling it “goosebumps-worthy” and “emotionally powerful.”
The cast is a major highlight, with Vishnu Manchu in the lead and special appearances by Prabhas, Akshay Kumar, Mohanlal, and Kajal Aggarwal adding star power. The performances, especially during the film’s intense spiritual moments, have been well-received.
Though not perfect, Kannappa wins hearts through its devotion-filled narrative, impactful visuals, and emotionally charged finale, making it a unique watch for fans of epic dramas and mythological tales.
