On July 29, 2025, Defence Minister Rajnath Singh addressed the Lok Sabha, affirming that India would not hesitate to resume Operation Sindoor should Pakistan engage in further misadventures. He emphasized that the operation, launched in response to the April 22 Pahalgam terror attack, achieved its strategic objectives and was only paused, not concluded.

Singh highlighted that Operation Sindoor demonstrated India's resolve to combat terrorism, stating that the mission injected fear into the minds of terrorists and showcased the nation's commitment to national security. He also credited the success of the operation to the meticulous logistics management by the armed forces, underscoring that modern warfare relies heavily on strategic planning and resource allocation.

The Defence Minister's remarks come amid ongoing discussions in Parliament regarding the operation's outcomes and India's preparedness to address future threats. Singh's statements reinforce the government's stance that India will take decisive action to safeguard its sovereignty and citizens against any acts of aggression.
