Wastelink is a Delhi-based agritech startup founded in 2018 by Saket Dave and Krishnan Kasturirangan that converts food surplus and rejects from FMCG brands, food producers, retailers into high-quality, traceable animal feed ingredients. Its flagship product, ECOMIX™, offers consistent nutrition, helping mitigate issues in animal feed supply chains such as price volatility and uneven nutrient content associated with maize and soya.
To manage this, Wastelink developed AI-enabled systems for formulation, reverse supply chain, and traceability, ensuring transparency from waste generation through processing to the final feed output. As of its latest funding round, it has upcycled over 35,000 tons of FMCG surplus, supports nutrition for over 38,500 animals annually, and has delivered improvements like ~15% higher milk yield in certain cases.
In August 2025, Wastelink raised ₹27 crores (~USD 3 million) in its Series A from Avaana Capital to scale operations: expanding processing capacity, tech stack, R&D, and deepen partnerships with both waste suppliers and feed manufacturers.
Operating with a circular economy mindset, Wastelink not only addresses food waste and GHG emissions but also helps food-producers reduce disposal costs, creates a more stable feed market and delivers benefits to farmers, businesses, and the environment alike.
