Ram Madhvani unveils 5‑minute AI‑powered film on Bhagavad Gita!

Ram Madhvani, celebrated for films like Neerja and the series Aarya, is charting new territory with a five-minute AI-powered VR short based on the Bhagavad Gita. Developed over two years under his Equinox Virtual banner, this immersive experience has already begun private screenings for select audiences.

More than just a standalone piece, the film serves as a proof of concept for a grand vision: reimagining all 18 chapters of the Gita and ultimately presenting the entire Mahabharata in a fully immersive VR universe. Madhvani emphasizes the importance of storytelling depth in VR, stating that the medium's power lies in emotional resonance not just technical innovation.

He believes modern audiences, especially younger generations, can experience spiritual texts in profoundly new ways through this format restoring the sense of devotion and presence often lost in digital viewing. The Équinox team is now in early talks with device manufacturers and VR platforms to make this spiritual storytelling accessible beyond niche circles .
