Ravindra Jadeja bags 'MVP' for the lone warrior fight at Lord's!

India head coach Gautam Gambhir praised Ravindra Jadeja's heroic 61 not out in the Lord's Test, calling it an "incredible fight" despite India's 22-run defeat to England.

Chasing 193, India's top order collapsed within 40 overs, but Jadeja showed remarkable resilience at No. 7, batting alongside tailenders Jasprit Bumrah and Mohammed Siraj for over 34 overs. The trio kept India's hopes alive before eventually falling for 170.

"His batting has reached another level," said assistant coach Ryan ten Doeschate, highlighting Jadeja's improved defense and consistency. Batting coach Sitanshu Kotak praised the all-rounder's pressure-handling ability, while teammates emphasized his rare skillset combining batting, bowling, and fielding excellence.

India trails 1-2 in the five-match series heading into the fourth Test in Manchester.
