Apple Inc. completely flipped its marketing strategy - and the internet was left confused.
The brand wiped its entire TikTok feed overnight and started posting “brain rot content” - random, chaotic, and oddly entertaining videos. Think a MacBook stuffed into a denim pocket, fruits FaceTiming each other… with almost zero traditional product promotion.
People genuinely thought the account was hacked.
But in reality, it was a planned marketing strategy.
Apple’s goal was simple - grab the attention of Gen Z and Gen Alpha, audiences that no longer engage with polished ads or boring demos. Instead, they respond to content that feels fun, weird, and scroll-stopping.
And the results speak for themselves - nearly 90% growth in views.
The key takeaway?
In today’s digital world, attention matters more than perfection. Entertaining content wins over traditional advertising.
But the real question is - can every brand pull this off, or is this something only Apple can do?
