The Bengal Mango Mela and Handloom‑Handicraft Expo 2025 returns to Delhi, gracing Janpath’s Handloom Haat from June 24 to July 8. The vibrant fair spotlights West Bengal’s famed mango varieties—think Himsagar, Laxmanbhog, Fazli—and pairs the fruit-filled delight with a rich showcase of Bengali handlooms, handicrafts, and GI‑tagged artisanal creations.
Visitors can explore over 40,000 kg of mangoes, enjoy an exhibition zone prompting live artisan demonstrations, and indulge in traditional Bengali cuisine and mango-themed delicacies in a dedicated food court. Daily from 11 am to 8 pm, the event also features an engaging cultural lineup: June 23 opens with a vocal duet by Moumita Kundu and Rajarshi Debray, followed by a spirited Raibeshe folk‑martial dance.
The finale on June 30 spotlights performances by Shinjan Dance Academy and a fusion ensemble from The Bengali Fusion Band, promising a joyous celebration of Bengal’s agricultural, cultural, and creative heritage in the national capital.
