Milk is one of the most widely consumed dairy products in the world and plays an important role in daily nutrition. It is rich in calcium, protein, vitamin B12, and vitamin D, which help support bone strength, muscle growth, and overall health. However, milk consumption differs from country to country depending on dietary habits, agriculture, and the availability of dairy products.
According to global data, Denmark has the highest milk consumption per person in the world. On average, people in Denmark consume around 395 kilograms of milk per person each year. Dairy products such as cheese, butter, yogurt, and milk are an essential part of the Danish diet.
Several other European countries like Montenegro, Estonia, Ireland, and Switzerland also have high milk consumption levels.
Meanwhile, India is the largest producer of milk in the world, thanks to its massive dairy industry and large cattle population.
