Sailesh Kolanu's HIT: The Third Case, starring Nani, Srinidhi Shetty, and Prateik Smita Patil, made a thunderous debut at the box office, collecting ₹18.18 crore net in India on its opening day. The film recorded an impressive 87.82% occupancy, with afternoon shows peaking at 92.37%, making it the biggest opening in the HIT franchise to date. Nani's portrayal of SP Arjun Sarkaar, a gritty cop unraveling a string of sinister murders, has captivated audiences and critics alike.
The film's opening stands as one of Nani's career bests, trailing only behind Dasara (2023), which raked in ₹23.2 crore on day one. Buoyed by the success, Nani celebrated on Instagram, calling the film a “box office mayhem.” With riveting cameos and a gripping narrative, HIT 3 not only delivers suspense but also teases its next installment, HIT: The Fourth Case. The franchise has undoubtedly leveled up, both commercially and creatively.
