Bollywood is struggling at the box office, with only a few films succeeding this year. Actor Randeep Hooda has weighed in on the crisis, blaming the industry's "bhedh chaal" (herd mentality) for its downfall.

In an interview, Randeep pointed out that Bollywood blindly follows trends instead of focusing on original storytelling. He highlighted how filmmakers rush to replicate a formula after a film succeeds, as seen with the rise of horror comedies post-Stree. He praised South Indian filmmakers for staying rooted in their culture, which he believes gives their films authenticity and emotional depth.

Despite Bollywood's struggles, Randeep is set to appear in Jaat, an action thriller directed by Gopichand Malineni. The film, featuring Sunny Deol and Regina Cassandra, is slated for release on April 10.
