June 9 marks one year of Modi 3.0: A year of Resilience, Reform & Recovery!

June 9, 2025, marks the first anniversary of Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s third consecutive term - Modi 3.0 - which has unfolded as a balancing act between coalition pressures and reform ambitions. The 2024 general election handed the BJP a reduced mandate (240 seats), compelling reliance on allies - a significant shift from its earlier dominance.

Still, Modi 3.0 has pressed forward. Huge infrastructure initiatives - ranging from Operation Sindoor to the Waqf Amendment, a bold caste census decision, and strategic foreign outreach - reflect both assertive governance and nuanced coalition diplomacy .

Economically, India remained the fastest‑growing large economy, posting ~6.5 % GDP growth in FY 2024‑25 while keeping fiscal discipline intact .

Politically, BJP rebounded in key state polls - Delhi, Maharashtra, Haryana - cementing its narrative dominance after the "Lok Sabha blip". Critics, however, point to lingering hiccups - sluggish private investment, cost‑of‑living pressures, and signs that "thin ice" may lie ahead.
