Five schools across Delhi—including St. Thomas School (Dwarka), Vasant Valley School (Vasant Kunj), Mother’s International (Hauz Khas), Richmond Global (Paschim Vihar), and Sardar Patel Vidyalaya (Lodi Estate)—received bomb-threat emails and were evacuated as a precaution. Authorities conducted thorough searches, deploying bomb disposal and dog squads, but found no suspicious items.
This marks the third consecutive day of hoax threats in the city. On Tuesday, July 15, both St. Thomas School and Delhi University’s St. Stephen’s College were targeted by similar bomb-warning emails, again prompting immediate evacuations and searches—though no explosives were detected. On Monday, July 14, CRPF Public School in Dwarka Sector 16, Navy School in Chanakyapuri, and a Rohini school also faced threats, triggering emergency responses.
Delhi Police and Fire Services are treating each alert with utmost seriousness. Cybercrime units have launched investigations to trace the source of these emails. Educational institutions are implementing heightened security measures, including evacuation drills and stricter email monitoring, as a wave of digital terror threatens to disrupt normal school life in the capital.
