Why Gen Alpha could be the most Entrepreneurial Generation Yet?

Generation Alpha - born from the early 2010s to mid-2020s—is being described as the most entrepreneurial generation yet. A 2023 Visa study found that 76% of children aged 8–14 aspire to start their own business, while nearly 78% have already earned money in the past year, often through technology-driven avenues.

Research also highlights their strong financial awareness. A Parents.com survey revealed that 41% of Gen Alpha kids are already saving for long-term goals like education, cars, or even retirement, while 21% reported having a side hustle or small business .

Tech fluency plays a key role—this is the first generation born fully into the digital age, with easy access to AI, coding, and online platforms. Looking ahead, OpenAI CEO Sam Altman predicts that by 2035, many Gen Alpha graduates may skip traditional jobs entirely for high-paying roles in AI-driven industries and even space exploration .

Together, these factors suggest Gen Alpha is poised to redefine the future of work and entrepreneurship worldwide.
