Failed at UPSC, rose through Kalaripayattu: Kajal Srivastava's inspiring comeback!

Kajal Srivastava’s journey is a powerful reminder that failure is not the end, but a step toward new beginnings. After six unsuccessful attempts at cracking the UPSC Civil Services Examination, she sank into deep depression and nearly gave up on life. But a turning point came when she discovered Kalaripayattu, the ancient martial art of Kerala.

The discipline and strength of Kalaripayattu helped her heal, both physically and mentally. Determined to share this transformative experience, she founded the TAVASI Movement, through which she has trained and guided over 2,000 trauma survivors to rebuild confidence and resilience. Her workshops go beyond fitness - empowering individuals to overcome fear, stress, and emotional setbacks.

Kajal also launched Swadesi Sports Wear, a homegrown activewear brand that reflects her entrepreneurial spirit. Today, she stands as a symbol of hope for aspirants and dreamers everywhere, proving that while exams may test us, they do not define us.
