Ansh Khanna, a Delhi-born entrepreneur, transformed his travel experiences and passion for quality beverages into Peak Spirits, a homegrown alcoholic beverage brand. Founded in 2018 with co-founder Ken Fredrickson, the company started with just Rs 1 crore in savings and a dream to craft artisanal drinks in India for global consumers.
Inspired by India’s rich botanical diversity, they launched Jin Jiji, a small-batch, handcrafted dry gin infused with Darjeeling tea and wild Himalayan Juniper. Initially, the founders targeted international markets, exporting to New York and building their brand identity through pop-ups and collaborations. Word-of-mouth soon propelled Peak Spirits to international acclaim.
Despite challenges such as the COVID-19 pandemic and supply chain hurdles, the brand scaled rapidly. From a three-member team, Peak Spirits now employs 25 people and has served over one million customers worldwide. The brand emphasizes premium, handcrafted beverages, avoiding artificial colors, and ensuring every bottle tells a story of quality and craftsmanship.
In April 2025, Jin Jiji was awarded Indian Spirit of the Year at the London Spirits Competition, solidifying its place as one of the world’s highest-rated gins. Peak Spirits continues to innovate while keeping India’s rich flavors at the heart of every product.
