Nikhil Kamath launches a 90-day startup launchpad for aspiring founders!

India’s startup ecosystem has a new opportunity for aspiring entrepreneurs. The Foundery, launched by Zerodha co-founder Nikhil Kamath and retail veteran Kishore Biyani, is a 90-day residential startup launchpad designed to help founders turn early ideas into real, investible businesses.

Unlike traditional accelerators or classroom-based programs, The Foundery focuses on learning by doing. Selected participants live on a residential campus and work full-time on identifying real problems, building products, testing markets, and refining business models with guidance from experienced founders and operators.

The program combines elements of a school, accelerator, and venture studio. Participants can retain up to 25% equity in ventures they help build, while promising startups may receive seed funding of up to ₹4 crore, along with strategic and operational support.

The selection process prioritises clarity of thinking, execution ability, and resilience over polished pitch decks. Each cohort concludes with a Demo Day, where founders present their startups to investors, marking the transition from idea stage to a scalable business.
