“Nobel Prize? He needs a health checkup” BJP tears into Kejriwal’s bold claim

In a sharp political retort, the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) on Wednesday mocked former Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal after he stated he “deserves a Nobel Prize” for navigating administrative challenges in Delhi. Delhi BJP chief Virendra Sachdeva responded that Kejriwal should instead undergo a “mental health checkup,” and cynically suggested his Nobel nomination would be for “corruption, anarchy, and inefficiency.”

Sachdeva criticized Kejriwal’s tenure, reminding voters of multiple FIRs filed against him and accusing him of mismanaging Delhi’s finances. “He looted Delhi, and the people of Delhi have rejected him,” Sachdeva declared, ridiculing Kejriwal’s self-nomination for the Nobel.

Kejriwal, speaking on Tuesday, had argued that despite his government being hampered by the Lieutenant Governor’s office and opposition opposition, his team still delivered notable achievements in governance and administration. “I feel that I should get a Nobel Prize… because I did so much work in Delhi during my tenure,” he asserted.

In a related barb, Delhi BJP also mocked Kejriwal's residence, dubbing it “Sheesh Mahal,” and proposed turning it into a luxury, ticketed attraction complete with extravagant fittings.
