President Droupadi Murmu will attend a special screening of Tanvi The Great, the latest directorial venture by veteran actor Anupam Kher, at the Rashtrapati Bhavan Cultural Centre (RBCC) in New Delhi on Friday, July 11, 2025.

The film has already won accolades at multiple international festivals for its powerful narrative and emotional depth. It tells the inspiring story of Tanvi, a young girl on the autism spectrum, who defies societal expectations to pursue her dream of joining the Indian Army.

Tanvi The Great stars debutant Shubhangi Dutt in the title role, alongside an ensemble cast featuring Jackie Shroff, Boman Irani, Arvind Swamy, and Anupam Kher himself.

Kher, who has directed and acted in the film, said the story aims to challenge perceptions around neurodiversity and promote inclusion and empowerment. The film’s screening at such a prestigious venue is seen as a significant endorsement of the arts as a tool for social change.
