The Common Admission Test (CAT) 2025 - the gateway to postgraduate management programs at the Indian Institutes of Management (IIMs) and top B‑schools - will open for registration on August 1, 2025, at 10:00 AM (IST) on the official portal iimcat.ac.in. The application window will close on September 13, 2025, at 5:00 PM .
Conducted by IIM Kozhikode, CAT this year is scheduled for Sunday, November 30, 2025 and will be delivered as a computer-based test across over 170 cities in India. The exam will be held in three slots, each lasting 2 hours (40 minutes per section): VARC, DILR, and QA.
The application fee is set at ₹2,600 for General/EWS/OBC candidates and ₹1,300 for SC/ST/PwD candidates. The notification was officially released on July 27, 2025 by IIM Kozhikode, marking the formal initiation of CAT 2025’s admission cycle for the 2026 academic year.
