St. Stephen's College evacuated after Bomb threat, panic in classrooms!

On Tuesday morning, two prominent educational institutions in Delhi — St Stephen’s College (DU) and St Thomas School, Dwarka - received bomb-threat emails, prompting immediate evacuations and deployment of emergency units, including the Bomb Squad, Dog Squad, Delhi Fire Brigade, and special teams .

The incident marked the second scare in two days, following hoax threats issued earlier to three other schools in the capital, including those in Chanakyapuri and Dwarka . Amid heightened tension, police and fire services swiftly conducted thorough sweeps of both campuses. So far, no suspicious items have been discovered, though investigations into the source and credibility of the emails remain ongoing .

The repeated threats have raised concerns about the security of educational institutions in Delhi, prompting authorities to remain on high alert. Parents, students, and staff reported heightened anxiety, while institutions and law enforcement worked together to ensure safety and reassure the community.
