At 26, Eshwar and Priya were far from home working night shifts in London, flipping burgers and packing burritos while money ran thin and dreams felt distant. Still, they held onto a spark: customers in London fell in love with Mexican street-food flavors, and they joked, “Imagine starting this dream back home.” Skepticism greeted them in India “Too young,” “Inexperienced,” friends and family warned. But the duo pushed forward: driving 60 km daily, they scouted cafés, then transformed a space into Los Tacos within seven days. Reality tested them staff quitting, rains flooding access roads, rent piling up. Some nights they skipped meals so the team could eat.
They survived. And when launch day arrived? Over 2,000 people queued. That moment changed everything. Today, more than 15 people work there; the café serves hundreds daily and remains deeply authentic bringing in real Mexican ingredients, refusing shortcuts. They treat delivery partners with dignity offering meals and respect. Young dreamers now come seeking guidance, and Eshwar and Priya share it with honesty they once longed for. They say, “Everyone returns from London with souvenirs we came back with a dream.” Their story is living proof: grit, purpose, and care can turn a whispered idea into a thriving movement.
