A Class 11 student from India has just done something that’s turning global heads. She has reached the global finals of the Breakthrough Junior Challenge, one of the world’s most competitive science competitions for school students.
The challenge isn’t about mugging up formulas. It’s about explaining complex science in a simple, creative way - and that’s exactly where she stood out. Her video breaks down CAR-T cell therapy, a cutting-edge cancer treatment, using everyday examples that make the topic easy to understand even for non-science students.
Selected among thousands of entries worldwide, she now stands in the top 16 finalists globally, representing India on an international stage. The competition rewards not just talent, but clarity of thought, originality, and storytelling.
What makes her journey more inspiring is the purpose behind her topic. She wanted people to better understand modern cancer treatments and how science can actually save lives.
If she wins, the prize includes a major scholarship and a fully equipped science lab for her school - a win that could inspire many more young innovators across India.
