PetPipers is a purpose-driven pet grooming startup founded by 26-year-old Garima Khanna to transform how groomers are trained, treated and paid in India’s fast-growing pet care market.
Recognising that traditional grooming roles often lacked formal training, fair compensation and respect, Garima launched PetPipers in 2019 in Delhi-NCR with a focus on elevating the profession. The company provides comprehensive skill development, ensuring new groomers become confident and capable within about 60 days, and earns a base of ₹22,000–₹25,000 per month—well above typical wages in the sector.
Beyond salary, PetPipers emphasises dignity and workplace growth. Long-time groomers have progressed to senior trainer roles, and others, like ex-BPO employee Sujith, have found both meaning and financial uplift in their careers.
Services range from nail clipping to medicated baths, all offered at clients’ homes to reduce stress for pets. With branches in Delhi-NCR, Mumbai and Dubai, the model uses online bookings and trained teams to deliver dependable care.
Pet parents appreciate the gentle, personalised experience, and Garima’s long-term vision includes training academies and broader awareness to make grooming a recognised, respected profession.
