Eligibility Criteria:

• Educational Qualification:

• The applicant must possess a medical qualification included in the National Medical Commission (NMC) Act.

• Candidates must have permanent registration from any State Medical Council or NMC.

• Post Graduate degree (MD/MS/MCh/DM) holders are also eligible and encouraged to apply.

• Internship: Must have completed a compulsory rotating internship by the date of the interview.

• Age Limit (as of Dec 31, 2026):

• MBBS/Diploma holders: Must not have attained the age of 30 years.

• Post Graduate Degree holders: Must not have attained the age of 35 years.

Selection Process:

1. Interview: Shortlisted candidates will be called for an interview by a Board of Officers at New Delhi to assess their suitability and personality.

2. Medical Examination: Candidates who qualify for the interview will undergo a Medical Examination by a Board of Service Medical Officers.

3. Physical Standards: Candidates must meet the specific height, weight, and vision standards prescribed for the Armed Forces.
