Bharti Real Estate, a subsidiary of Sunil Mittal's Bharti Enterprises, is in advanced talks with Universal Studios to launch the entertainment giant's first venture in India. According to The Economic Times, the plan involves setting up an indoor Universal Studios theme park inside India's largest upcoming mall near Delhi Airport, spanning a massive 3 million sq ft. Bharti Enterprises is expected to lease approximately 300,000 sq ft to house the theme park, with completion targeted for mid-2027.

Bharti Real Estate CEO SK Sayal confirmed that 10% of the mall's leasable area is reserved for a global entertainment park. Although both companies remain tight-lipped on partnership specifics, the potential arrival of Universal Studios is poised to redefine India's entertainment landscape. Combined with Delhi Aerocity's new 24/7 bar and restaurant policy, the region is fast becoming a high-profile entertainment and tourism hub that could attract millions of visitors annually.
