Why Lamborghini has a bull as its logo?

When you think of Lamborghini, the raging bull logo instantly comes to mind. But did you know its origins date back to the 1960s?

Founder Ferruccio Lamborghini got the idea after spending time with a Spanish fighting bull breeder in Sevilla. Impressed by their power and presence, he chose the bull as his brand's symbol.

Why the Raging Bull?

Lamborghini's love for bullfighting wasn't just about admiration. He also named some of his models after famous fighting bulls- Murciélago, Diablo, Miura, and Gallardo.

But there's more to the story! As a Taurus (born April 28, 1916), Ferruccio felt deeply connected to the bull's traits of power, dominance, and speed, qualities he wanted in his cars.

Lamborghini vs. Ferrari

Before making luxury sports cars, Ferruccio ran a successful tractor manufacturing business. But he had a vision to build a car that could rival Ferrari. In 1963, he introduced the Lamborghini 350 GTV, shocking the auto industry and proving his brand could stand out.

The current Lamborghini logo features a golden bull inside a black shield with gold lettering- a symbol of prestige, power, and luxury.
