Bored of swiping? Tinder’s new idea might shock users!

Dating app Tinder is rolling out new features to attract younger users, especially Gen Z, as many people feel tired of endless swiping on dating apps.

The company has introduced video speed dating, allowing users to meet matches through short live video interactions before deciding whether they want to connect further. The idea is to make conversations feel more natural and reduce the pressure of traditional matching.

Tinder is also adding artificial intelligence tools like “Chemistry”, designed to improve match suggestions and help users find more meaningful connections. The feature aims to tackle “swipe fatigue,” a growing problem where users feel burned out from constantly browsing profiles without meaningful results.

CEO Spencer Rascoff said the goal is to rebuild trust in dating apps and remind people that the need for human connection is still strong. With these updates, Tinder hopes to stay relevant among younger audiences and keep its position in the competitive online dating market.
