Delhi Airport to launch E-arrival card Facility for foreign travelers!

Starting October 1, 2025, Delhi's Indira Gandhi International Airport (IGI) will implement an E-Arrival Card system for international travelers. This digital initiative allows passengers to submit their arrival information online before traveling, eliminating the need for manual paper-based forms at immigration counters. The system aims to expedite the immigration process, reduce queues, and support sustainability efforts by minimizing paper usage.

Travelers can complete the E-Arrival Card up to three days prior to their arrival through official platforms such as the Bureau of Immigration's website, the Indian Visa portal, the "Su-Swagatam" mobile app, or Delhi Airport’s official site. This move aligns with similar digital initiatives at airports in countries like Thailand, Indonesia, Singapore, South Korea, and Malaysia.

The introduction of the E-Arrival Card reflects India's commitment to enhancing the travel experience by leveraging digital solutions, making the arrival process smoother and more efficient for international visitors.
