How 75 lakh women in Bihar will benefit from PM Modi's latest scheme?

Prime Minister Narendra Modi is set to transfer ₹10,000 each to 75 lakh women in Bihar on September 26 under the Chief Minister's Mahila Rozgar Yojana. This initiative, totaling ₹7,500 crore, aims to empower women by providing financial assistance for self-employment ventures. The scheme is designed to promote economic independence and entrepreneurship among women across the state.

The first installment of ₹10,000 will be credited directly to the bank accounts of eligible women. After six months, based on the performance of their ventures, an additional grant of up to ₹2 lakh may be provided. This performance-based incentive encourages sustainable business practices and growth.

The Mahila Rozgar Yojana reflects the government's commitment to women's welfare and economic development. By supporting self-employment, the scheme aims to reduce out-migration for work and enhance local economic activities. The initiative is expected to benefit women from diverse backgrounds, contributing to a more inclusive and self-reliant Bihar.
