Café Niloufer, one of Hyderabad’s most iconic tea brands, has launched India’s largest tea café, spread across 40,000 sq. ft. in the city’s Hitech area. This new three-storey outlet offers a blend of traditional Irani café charm with a modern, spacious experience.
Established in 1978 by A. Babu Rao, Café Niloufer began as a small bakery in Lakdikapul. Over the years, it grew in popularity due to its signature Irani chai, Osmania biscuits, and affordable prices. The new outlet continues that tradition, serving the classic ₹20 tea, while elevating the ambience with elegant interiors, wooden seating, high ceilings, and artistic décor inspired by Hyderabad’s culture.
The café also offers a wide range of bakery items and snacks, making it suitable for families, professionals, and tourists alike. With seating for over 500 people, it is designed to feel both expansive and comforting-like a second home for tea lovers.
This expansion marks a major milestone for Café Niloufer as it aims to become a national brand, starting with this flagship store in Hyderabad’s tech hub.
