Mid-Caps Poised for Big Moves: Analysts Eye 25%+ Upside!

In recent weeks, sentiment toward India’s mid-cap universe has grown markedly bullish. According to a screener using ET’s “Stock Report Plus,” several mid-caps with average ratings of “Buy” or “Strong Buy” show potential to rally over 25 % in the next 12 months.

What’s driving this optimism? For one, domestic institutional flows are increasingly supporting mid-caps, reducing their prior vulnerability. There’s also a revival in market breadth—mid-caps are outperforming large caps on many trading days, signaling renewed appetite.

The screener filters for quality names—those with robust fundamentals, visible growth paths, and valuation room. While the exact names are behind a paywall, sectors showing strength include manufacturing, specialty chemicals, and consumer-adjacent plays.

That said, risks remain. Valuations are already elevated in many mid-caps, and macro volatility (interest rates, global cues) can trigger sharp reversals. Investors would be wise to remain selective, favouring names with strong balance sheets and resilient earnings.
