The time when the bride’s mother stood up for her daughter and called off the wedding

A courageous mother in Bengaluru made headlines for standing up for her daughter's dignity and future by sending the groom's baraat back after they arrived intoxicated.

A viral video on social media captured the moment a bride's mother made a life-changing decision. Reports reveal that the groom and his friends showed up heavily intoxicated, disrupting the wedding proceedings with unruly behaviour. In a shocking display, the groom reportedly threw the aarti ki thali, adding fuel to the chaos.

Rather than tolerate this disrespect, the mother of the bride took a firm stand. Recognizing the groom's behaviour as a red flag for her daughter's future, she calmly asked the baraat to leave, effectively calling off the wedding.

The bride's mother expressed her concerns about the groom's actions, she said, "Abhi se aise tevar hain..."

The video struck a chord with netizens, sparking an outpouring of support. Social media users hailed the mother's bravery and praised her for prioritizing her daughter's well-being over societal pressure.

One Instagram user commented, "So proud of her for doing this!" Another applauded the decision, saying, "This breaks stereotypes and shows true courage choosing your daughter's future over society's expectations."

What's your take on this mother's remarkable decision?
