Kerala-based startup Mykare Health, co-founded by Senu Sam, Rahmathulla T. M., and Joash Philipose, is building what it calls India’s "Uber for healthcare" - an asset‑light platform that delivers seamless care for elective surgeries across Tier 1 and Tier 2 cities. Their mission: tackle fragmented care, opaque pricing, and operational hassle for India’s middle-class segment.
Patients register on Mykare’s platform, which offers end-to-end support: doctor selection, hospital coordination, insurance assistance, free pick-up/drop service, transparent pricing, and post-op care. With a curated network of over 1,000 healthcare providers across 15+ cities, Mykare has served 100,000+ patients, facilitated more than 10,000 surgeries, and delivered 30–40% cost savings vs. traditional options.
Operating without its own facilities, Mykare partners with small-to-mid hospitals - about 80% of India’s healthcare infrastructure - helping them boost occupancy while offering standardized service. Patients benefit from trust-driven access without the premium price tag.
In June 2025, the startup achieved EBITDA‑positive status in its elective surgery vertical, - posting 80% year-over-year revenue growth and $3M ARR, with margins above 10%. It expects full profitability within a few months.
This profitable, impact-led startup exemplifies that socially conscious healthcare can scale sustainably while empowering millions.
