30 dead as Pakistani jets bomb Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Village!

At least 30 civilians lost their lives when the Pakistan Air Force carried out an airstrike on Matre Dara village in Tirah Valley, Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, on Monday. Reports say fighter jets dropped eight LS-6 bombs around 2 a.m., destroying homes and killing men, women, and children. Several others were injured, though the exact toll is still being confirmed .

Local journalists and social media visuals revealed scenes of devastation - collapsed houses, bodies pulled from rubble, and desperate rescue efforts. While security officials have not issued a full statement, some reports suggest that militants, possibly linked to the Tehrik-i-Taliban Pakistan (TTP), may have been present in the area, raising concerns that civilians were used as human shields .

The incident has drawn condemnation from human rights activists, who warn of rising civilian casualties amid counter-terrorism operations in northwestern Pakistan. Independent verification of the deaths is still awaited.
