This summer, curtain styles are embracing the art of slow living with an elegant, breathable twist. According to Sachin Chauhan, Director at Dialogues by Nirmals, interiors are being transformed with aesthetics like “Coastal Grandma” and “Mediterranean Minimalism.”
The former brings vintage warmth and seaside nostalgia with sheer, embroidered curtains in muted hues. Meanwhile, Mediterranean Minimalism channels simplicity through natural fabrics like linen and handwoven cotton in earthy tones terracotta, seafoam, and chalky whites.
Top trends include sheer linen layers, block printed motifs, tone on tone handloom textures, subtle borders, and floor to ceiling drapery that adds movement and height. Ombre effects, inspired by the ocean's gradient, are also making waves.
This evolution in summer drapery isn't just style, it's serenity stitched into fabric, offering a holiday like vibe within your living space.
