Air Marshal Bharti Breaks Silence on Kirana Hills Strike Rumors!

Air Marshal AK Bharti, Director General of Air Operations, clarified on Monday that Indian armed forces did not target Pakistan's nuclear facility at Kirana Hills amid speculation following Operation Sindoor. Addressing media queries, Bharti firmly stated, “We have not hit Kirana Hills, whatever is there,” dismissing social media claims suggesting otherwise.

The Kirana Hills, located in Pakistan's Sargodha district, had been rumored as an underground nuclear storage site. Bharti instead highlighted the success of India's precision strikes under Operation Sindoor, which targeted nine terror hideouts linked to groups like Jaish-e-Mohammed, Lashkar-e-Taiba, and Hizbul Mujahideen across Pakistan and Pakistan-occupied Kashmir.

Visual evidence showcased significant damage to Pakistani air defence radars and airfields. The operation was in response to Pakistan's attempted strikes on Indian bases and the deadly Pahalgam attack that killed 26 civilians.

Both nations have since announced an immediate ceasefire following US-mediated negotiations to de-escalate tensions.
